This website helps connect property owners with local septic system contractors. It is not a government agency, a health department, or a soil science firm, and it does not issue permits or approve system designs. Septic permitting in North Carolina is handled by county environmental health, and what can be installed on a given lot depends on an on-site soil evaluation. Provider certification, insurance, warranty terms, and pricing should be confirmed before work begins.

Submitting an estimate request creates no obligation on your part and no guarantee of service availability, scheduling, or pricing. All work is performed under whatever agreement you reach directly with the service provider.

Verify providers independently

Before any septic work begins, confirm the provider's certification, insurance coverage, warranty terms, permit number, and written scope of work. North Carolina certifies on-site wastewater contractors through the NC Onsite Wastewater Contractor Inspector Certification Board under G.S. 90A, Article 5, and inspectors are certified separately from installers — so ask which certification a provider holds, at what grade, and verify it against the Board's public roster. Nothing on this site is a representation about any specific provider's qualifications unless expressly stated with that provider's verified details.
